School Assembly
First visit of this new term to my favourite infant school (actually it is my only infant school”! I normally take assemblies in Júnior & Primary Schools). Great to have Penny with me for her input & company.
What: Assembly:
Where: Marchwood Infant School. Southampton. Hants.
Theme: Courage.
Bible Story: Jesus stills a storm (Mark 4:35–41)
Marchwood Infant School was first contacted with the Counties ‘Key to Life’ Expo in 2023 and this has opened up a regular opportunity to take assemblies.
One out of Two ain’t bad!
Always appreciate your prayers for when I preach and also for travelling, this mornings incident is a reminder that accidents do happen and sadly people get hurt.
The two hour delay on the M3 while the Motorway was closed and then the slow traffic afterwards meant I missed the morning service in Nailsea but on the bright side I have never arrived so early for my afternoon service in Bristol- lol

Today @ Speakers Corner
Soaked for the third time this week (Men’s BBQ Weds, Family Fun Day Sat & SC today!), The rain fell, and Autumn is fast approaching.
A smaller crowd than usual but we were still able to have numerous good conversations throughout the afternoon/evening. The highlight being a long chat with Rafik, a Muslim man from Egypt. Please pray that God will remove the scales of misinformation from his eyes.

Speakers Corner in London’s Hyde Park is the oldest free speech platform in the world. People won the right to speak in mass protests in the 1860s and early 1870s. Some people believe the tradition is connected to the right of the condemned to a last speech before being hung at the Tyburn gallows, a practice that stopped at the end of the 18th century. Every Sunday people from all sorts of convictions come to Hyde Park in the afternoon to spread their message or to have fun.

Family Fun Day Talk
Family Fun Day with Cannon Court Evangelical Church. Fetcham. Surrey.
Great to see members of the community enjoy activities, which included a bouncer castle, a bungee run, side show games, a brass band and free ice-cream from the van!
My part to giving a short talk at the evening BBQ.
Booklets taken after the talk, pray they will be read and for the ongoing work of CCEC.
