‘BodyBuilders’ Prayer & Plan (better late than never, we have already had 2 events!).
Pizza for those arriving early and need feeding and lots of ideas from those who come later on!

‘Body Builders’ is an inter-Church youth event for anyone aged 8 to 15 years.
The evening consists of ice-breakers (games & activities), World Vision, DVD’s, Tuck Shop and a short talk.

With the park closed because of Storm Bert, those who turned up to SC had to stand on the pavement at the wider Marble Arch entrance.

A real thrill to have a long talk with Haashim and to finish the conversation by reading and explaining Isaiah chapter 53. He has promised to go back home and reread the chapter and contact me if he has any questions.
About 7.00pm the rain fell heavily and those of us who are wise headed home!

All closed because of Storm Bert – not sure why the whole park needs closing!
Looks like it’s outside the main gates for some discussion, chat & a jolly good argument!

Speakers Corner in London’s Hyde Park is the oldest free speech platform in the world. People won the right to speak in mass protests in the 1860s and early 1870s. Some people believe the tradition is connected to the right of the condemned to a last speech before being hung at the Tyburn gallows, a practice that stopped at the end of the 18th century. Every Sunday people from all sorts of convictions come to Hyde Park in the afternoon to spread their message or to have fun.

Today, on the Life Expo at Swanfield Chapel, Chichester, one teacher commented on how engaged the pupils were with the music videos on their tablets. She said she was going home to rethink some of her lesson plans to include Christian music, it brought back memories of Soul Survivor from when she was a kid.

All set up and ready to go.
Two schools then arrived to provide the pupils for todays visits. One teacher said as he boarded the coach to go back to his school, “How an I meant to follow that?”
Day one completed, more of the same planned for the rest of the week. Do pray for the many children, teachers and school helpers who will visit this excellent resource on the life of Jesus Christ.
Apart from Covid interruption, The LIFE Exhibition has been at Swanfield Chapel every two years since it launched in 2006.

The Life exhibition is a multi-media experience designed for primary school children which complements and works alongside existing RE teaching. Over 150,000 pupils have now participated in our Life exhibition!
