Today @ Speakers Corner
Sunshine in the park equals people and lots of them!
Long afternoon/evening with conversations taking place in the dark except for a few camera lights and the one lamppost (you would think they could afford more than one!)
Two highlights, #1: a Moslem man called Ali, after a good chat asked that we might pray, “Jesus would save me from himself!” There in the business of the park it was good to pray with him. Please continue to pray the Lord will make himself known to this open-minded man.
#2: was with another Moslem man (sorry, I could not pronounce his name, never mind spell it!), in London but flying back to Saudi tomorrow. Lots of genuine dialogue and he said he would watch some of my sermons on YouTube, please pray he finds the right ones.

Speakers Corner in London’s Hyde Park is the oldest free speech platform in the world. People won the right to speak in mass protests in the 1860s and early 1870s. Some people believe the tradition is connected to the right of the condemned to a last speech before being hung at the Tyburn gallows, a practice that stopped at the end of the 18th century. Every Sunday people from all sorts of convictions come to Hyde Park in the afternoon to spread their message or to have fun.

Day 5 Adventure Cruise Holiday Club
Day 5 Adventure Cruise Holiday Club
Have you heard of the 4 to 14 Window?
The 4 to 14 window is a term used to describe the age when people are most likely to come to faith in Jesus Christ.
In 2015, the National Association of Evangelicals polled their membership to learn at what age members made this most important decision of their lives, and found that 63% chose to follow Jesus between the ages of 4 and 14. Supporting this finding, other, older studies also have strong data showing that after the age of 18 years old, the number of faith decisions made drop drastically.
This information reminds us again of the importance of children’s ministry!
Final day of the Adventure Cruise Holiday Club and it’s prize-giving!
Adventure Cruise Holiday Club is a 5-day fun event for children aged 4–11 years (school years Reception to Year 6) run by volunteers from Swanfield Chapel, Chichester. We start at 10.00am and finish at 12noon.
Two hours of fun, games, Bible stories, competitions, DVD’s, songs and much more!
We’ll be cruising the five ‘C’s, meeting people along the way who have had a life-changing encounter with Jesus. First of all there is the ‘C’ of Choice, then Courage, Call, Change and Commitment.
Step aboard as we sail away on The Adventure Cruise!
Day 4 Adventure Cruise Holiday Club
95% of under-18s in England and Wales don’t go to church. That’s over 12 million children and young people who still need to hear the life-changing good news of Jesus! Great to work alongside Swanfield Chapel as they make connections and journey alongside local children and young people from ‘the 95’.
