The FirstServe girls have done incredibly over the past few weeks and God has taken them on a number of new adventures!
Anna is now onto her final week at Bethany City Church, please pray for her remaining time there and as she begins to prepare for her overseas placement to Zambia…
Abbie & Hazel have two weeks to go at their UK Church placements, please pray that their remaining time will be both encouraging and challenging.

All of the FirstServers are now half way through their UK Church Placements! Anna is due to finish her placement in just over 2 weeks, while Abbie & Hazel have just over 3 weeks to go. Please remember them all in prayer over the coming weeks and as they begin to plan for their overseas placements. Week 8 of GSUS LIVE in Hants and this week it is at Perins School School – Alresford

Please pray for the team; Tim (Church of the Good Shepherd), Dave (New Farm Chapel) & Myself as we run the unit in what will be a busy & full week of lessons!

Just two more weeks of GSUS LIVE in Hants.
This week the unit is at Oasis Academy Mayfield. Southampton – Monday October 13th to Friday October 17th 2014.

GSUS LIVE & LIFE Expo at Chichester!
(October 6th to 10th)

I will be at Swanfield Chapel Chichester for the LIFE Expo while Andy Morgan and team of helpers from a variety of Churches in Chichester will run GSUS LIVE at Bishop Luffa School for the week.

The LIFE Exhibition is an educational experience with active learning opportunities. Using PDA technology, with text, graphics, DVD and sound, the exhibition is a ‘hands on’ interactive learning experience. LIFE tells of the life of Jesus, his Jewish roots, his teaching and miracles, and his death, burial and resurrection. The final area of the exhibition is the LIFE Café, where pupils can have refreshments and discuss what they have seen and experienced.

‘GSUS Live’ is a resource that is available to secondary schools.
The aim of ‘GSUS Live’ is to enhance students’ understanding of some of the key teachings of Jesus.

A mobile classroom with a multimedia computer suite is the heart of the project.

It is designed to take classes of up to 32 Key Stage 3 students for a 45 minute session and provides a stimulating environment in which they can investigate Jesus’ teaching on Forgiveness, Fear and Rejection.

Please pray for Penny this weekend as she speaks at a ladies conference at Hebron Hall Christian Centre, which is located on the outskirts of the village of Dinas Powys, within the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan.

Weekend in Bristol: great to meet up with friends and to discover a little of what God is doing in the South West of England.

FirstServe September ’14 is kicking off this week! We will be welcoming 4 ladies onto the programme from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the USA. Please pray for them as they journey to Tilsley College, Motherwell and that God will use the next 3 weeks to make a big impact on their lives. Let the FirstServe adventure begin!
