As summer approaches and many prepare for Camps, Holiday Clubs and Beach Missions, orders for my ‘Let’s Talk!’ booklet start to come in.
It was great to supply Wycombe Youth For Christ this morning with a 180 copies – who knows WHERE or WHO will read these booklets but as the Psalmist wrote: (Psalm 119:130): “The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple”, and this little booklet is full of scripture.

Meoncross is the only independent senior school in Borough of Fareham.
It is always a pleasure to be invited in to take a Christian based assembly for the Infant, Junior, and Senior years.
It was great this morning to share a little of the gospel message through the story of blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52)

On holiday – somewhere hot and sunny – do not disturb!

Hounslow for a 5 day Holiday Club at Wellington Road Community Church (Tues to Sat) – Great to work with children (and adults) from a variety of religious and racial backgrounds and share the Good News of Jesus!

A good start to the week with over 40 enthusiastic children coming along each day! plus lots and lots of young teenage helpers – please pray for these helpers, many are older sisters/brothers of the children attending and have very little knowledge of the Christian message.

Seren Anderson, Deborah Holmes and Jan Dippell have all now completed their FirstServe placements overseas. Pray for them as they reflect on and share their various experiences, and pray that they will know God’s wisdom and guidance in the days and months to come.

All of the February FirstServers are now well into their UK church placements and involved in a variety of activities and events, including children’s work, youth clubs, acting, house-sitting…! Check out their blogs so that you can support them and pray for them! Here is the link to Alison’s blog:

The Net: B-B-Q in the Woods!
They came, THEY GOT WET and they ate plenty of food!
Excellent sausages plus Andy Payne’s famous Pheasant, Squirrel, Chicken and Pork Kebabs!
Great night and thanks to everyone for turning out in such crazy weather!

The evening concluded with three men sharing their story of how they came to faith in Jesus Christ.

‘The Net’ is an inter-church event for men run by Counties Hampshire.

‘BodyBuilders’ Houseparty 2013 for young people was another great event. A full programme of events included Moors Valley Country park, ‘Wild & Whacky’ inflatables (swimming), New Forest, Hengistbury Head and much more!
Altogether 37 of us (leaders & young people) descended on Bournemouth for a weekend of activities, Bible teaching and very little sleep!
Ivor Cooper was guest speaker and he was spot on with his sessions! Please keep praying that what was shared over the weekend will still impact lives, God is really at work in the life of some of these young people and it is privilege to be able to inspire and help them along.

After a crazy, busy week of mission it was so good this week to spend a few days with the family!

The Curley’s enjoying a great day in the New Forest @ Knightwood Oak near Lyndhurst, Hants. UK. Thank you for your interest, support and prayers for the family – Kathy is now 12 and Arlo is now 10.

Great night last evening at ‘The Net’ (Monthly Events for Men)
For most of us our snooker was embarrassingly poor, but playing doubles with people of the same standard made for an enjoyable evening out.
Colin Dyer was our guest speaker and he spoke on the subject: ‘Is there life after death?’ An imaginative and challenging presentation!

‘The Net is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 8.00pm (November to May).
It is an inter-church event for MEN run by ‘Counties’ Hants.
