Community Fun Afternoon
Great to be invited with the 2nd hand bookstall to the Community Fun Afternoon Celebrating Bethany Gospel Hall (Holbury. Hampshire) 80th Anniversary!
Look out for Penny face-painting. Good to meet up with old friends and more importantly engage with the local community and sell/pass on Bibles, Christian books to those who would not normally have access to these things.

FirstServe Update
Please continue to pray for Josh who is nearly half way through his placement in Zambia! Pray that his remaining time will be filled with opportunities to share God’s love and that his faith will continue to grow and develop through this experience.
We are in the middle of processing a number of applications for September 2015 and February 2016, please pray for those who have applied as they begin to prepare for their gap year for God.
FirstServe is a unique discipleship and missions programme, primarily for 18-25 year-olds on a gap year, or those with a shorter time available.
Gordon is part of the FistServe Steering Group.
Hawthorn Court Nursing Home
Hawthorn Court is a purpose built nursing home accommodating up to 80 older persons, including people with dementia. The ministers in the Fareham Western Wards take it in turn to visit the home and lead a monthly service. It was a real privilege this morning to go into the home and share a Christian service with some of the residents.
This morning residents gathered in the lounge for a short get together. They enjoyed and participated in a hymn, some prayers and listened to two solos sung by my wife Penny before hearing a short gospel talk.
For those residents suffering with sever dementia it is hard to know how much they take in, but we trust and pray they find some comfort and encouragement in the things of God
