As they say in football, “It was a game of two halves!”
The first couple of hours were dead, no-good conversations at all, not even an argument! It was just dead, no one interested in talking, then at ‘half-time’, it all changed and went ballistic!
A Moslem woman in full burka approached me with a question, you may be aware that Moslem woman rarely approach a Christian men in the park, but she went for it, one question after another, some questions bizarre, “Would you eat meat sacrificed to an idol?” to more tricky ones, “Why did Paul get Timothy circumcised in Acts chapter 16 if he no longer practiced the Law of Moses?” to some of the usual standard questions, “Jesus said only God is good, therefore Jesus is not God because he said, ‘don’t call me good?’” Over an hour later and we were still talking! Maybe because of the unusual situation, a Moslem woman in full burka questioning a Christian man, but soon we had a group of people surrounding us and listening in to the conversation, then when the women left, they took over, and several hours later, exhausted I headed home – a profitable day!
