Day 3 – Laughter, singing & plenty of cheering contributed to another energetic morning!
Today we went Bananas with the throw & catch trampoline game.
Craft time was making a parrot and today we learnt the stories of Zacchaeus, who went ‘bananas’ by giving his money away! We also thought about the cross of Jesus, the children were gripped as they listened to the story of Barabbas the first person who could say about Jesus, “He died for me!”

Tomorrow we all have a day off due to a family funeral, but we will all be back for Friday!

‘Going Bananas’ Holiday Club! is a 4-day fun event for children (school years Reception to Year 5) run by volunteers from Duncan Road Church. We start at 10.00am and finish at 12noon. It’s fun! it’s free!

Two hours of fun, games, Bible stories, competitions, DVD’s, songs and much more!
An action-packed programme with stories from both the Old and New Testament. Some Bible characters seem to have “gone bananas” for God, but these programmes show that loving, trusting and following Jesus is in fact the sanest thin
