Date for the Diary! Men’s B-B-Q IN THE WOODS

After missing out on so many events due to Covid-19 restrictions, it’s good to be back with a favourite activity.

(Bottom of Titchfield Hill on A27)
Proceed along Mill Lane for about 2.5 miles.
You will pass the following landmarks:
1). Fisherman’s Rest Pub on right.
2). Funtly nursery on left.
3). Under motorway bridge.
4). Past junction with River Lane on right hand side.
5). Up the hill then down the other side).
Stop just before you see the power cables cross the road.
You will see a concrete road entrance and a padlocked gate
on the left. This is where we will meet.

The only thing you can be certain of is that S.C. will not be dull – last weeks best debates were with an atheist, a Moslem, a Catholic and a group of Moslems!

Yesterday Hatun Tash was stabbed and attacked at Speakers Corner. YES, at Speakers Corner one of the best known locations for public speaking and debate in the world, a bastion of free speech, yet week by week violence is being used instead of arguments to try and silence those who hold a contrary opinion or speak out against the so called, ‘religion of peace.’
Shameful behaviour and our thoughts and prayers go with Hatun that she makes a speedy recovery!
All who know Hatun are confident she will soon return to Speakers Corner where she will be sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and engaging once again with Muslims or anyone else who wants to debate.

Preaching this morning at Swanmore Methodist Church.
A rare morning visit, normally I speak at their evening service, so it will be interesting to see some new faces (even if they are still wearing masks!)

Hot, hot hot at Speakers Corner, the last three weeks have also been ‘hot’ but in a different way with three fights breaking out;
Fight #1: a Moslem man punches another Moslem man. Fight #2: Two Moslem men punch one Moslem man. Fight #3: A Moslem slaps an LGBT woman and runs away.
Looks like ‘the religion of peace’ is once again failing to live up to its claims!

Penny finished Noah’s Ark Toddlers and Babies group this morning (back in September when the new school-term commences) with its traditional prize-giving, with each child who will move on to school in September receiving a children’s Bible.

We trust parents will help their children read and understand these great stories and help them learn more about Jesus.
