When the sun shines the people come out to the park, the regulars, curious tourists and those who are just passing through as they walk down to the Serpentine.
Lots of good conversations, but the highlight of the day was, Sufyan (photos 8&9). Yesterday, I picked up some gospels of Luke in Farsi (Farsi is the native name (endonym) for the Persian language) and prayed this morning that I would be able to give one to an Iranian in the park.
At the corner there was no Iranian who wanted to chat, but God moves in mysterious ways! As I was heading back to the car to go home, I noticed a young man all by himself with a carpet and books, at first, I thought he was praying but instead he was binding some books, putting leather covers on a book he had written. Soufi was super-friendly, and we had a chat about many things but (as you might expect) ended up at Jesus, his claims and his identity. Please pray for Sufyan that he will read the gospel and that God will speak clearly to him.

Note: He has no hatred towards Moslems, the issue is with the ideology of Islam! As a Christian he seeks to love all Muslims, while honestly engaging with the true nature of Islam.
