Starts today! We are fully booked for another exiting week of Camp!

What is it?
‘Good News’ Camps are packed with interest and provide excellent value for money. Campers are given the opportunity to explore new places, meet new friends, and take part in exciting activities! Organised Camp activities include onsite sports and art and craft sessions, plus trips into the New Forest, a jaunt to the beach and a splash in a nearby swimming pool. During ‘free time’ campers can just ‘chill out’ or use the onsite facilities e.g. snooker, table-tennis, volleyball, badminton, football and a variety of board games.

At the beginning of the week all campers are placed into teams and healthy competition is encouraged throughout the week. Teams will compete with each other in a whole range of fun based activities, scoring points and trying to make sure they are the team who will win the team prize at the end of the week!

We ask prayer for:

*Set Up, this will mainly happen Sunday morning and Sunday will also be a training day for the volunteer leaders before the Campers arrive onsite between 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
*Unity & balance in the team – we have a variety of helpers with different backgrounds and experience– please pray that we will all complement each other in our various roles.
*For the Leadership Team Mark (the Moose), Naomi, Penny & GC).
*For Gordon as he preaches & leads 6 main sessions/talks & 4 short talks from John’s gospel for this year’s Camp.
*For a good time spiritually – that the week will be marked with conversions and spiritual growth.
*For the Cabin Leaders as they look after a group of 8 children, both practically and spiritually.
*Health & safety – accidents do happen – pray with us that any accident/health issue will be insignificant and handled well!

Fun theme: Going Bananas (all things yellow, banana plantation or jungle)
Spiritual teaching theme: John’s gospel.
