Day 4 of ‘Going Bananas’ Holiday Club!
“Never work with children or animals” is a famous show business adage, commonly attributed to actor/comedian W.C. Fields, warning that they are unpredictable and often “steal the limelight”.
Well we have had both this week, the animals may not be real but the children certainly are! Great to see their excitement, feel their energy and enjoy their varied personalities. We certainly have quite a few characters in the building!

‘Going Bananas’ Holiday Club is a 5-day fun event for children aged 4–11 years (school years Reception to Year 6) run by volunteers from Swanfield Chapel, Chichester. We start at 10.00am and finish at 12noon.
Two hours of fun, games, Bible stories, competitions, DVD’s, songs and much more!
An action-packed programme with stories from both the Old and New Testament. Some Bible characters seem to have “gone bananas” for God, but these programmes show that loving, trusting and following Jesus is in fact the sanest thing that anyone can do.
