Day 3 of ‘Going Bananas’ Holiday Club!
In case you don’t know, the phrase “going bananas” is an idiomatic expression that means to become very excited, emotional, or irrational about something. In various contexts, it describes a state of exuberance or craziness, often in a humorous way.
Well we probabl;y fulfilled that description and more in today’s activities!
Teaching, we are covering the Four Points. Day 1 was God is love. Day was we all mess up (sin). Day 3 teaching about the cross and ther forgiveness Jesus offers us. Day 4 tomorrow, when we look at choices, and ther need to follow Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

‘Going Bananas’ Holiday Club is a 5-day fun event for children aged 4–11 years (school years Reception to Year 6) run by volunteers from Swanfield Chapel, Chichester. We start at 10.00am and finish at 12noon.
Two hours of fun, games, Bible stories, competitions, DVD’s, songs and much more!
An action-packed programme with stories from both the Old and New Testament. Some Bible characters seem to have “gone bananas” for God, but these programmes show that loving, trusting and following Jesus is in fact the sanest thing that anyone can do.
