Day 5 of \u2018Going Bananas\u2019 Holiday Club!<\/p>\n

Great to see the building full of children and parents this morning for the last day of Holiday Club. The last 45mins parents are invited to see what their children have been doing all week and also to see them receive a well earned prize! All week the children have been collecting stickers, for taking part in quizzes, games, activities, competitions and remembering the daily memory verse! <\/p>\n

\u2018Going Bananas\u2019 Holiday Club may have finished for this year BUT the work of the Holy Spirit goes on…
\napart from the work of the Holy Spirit, whatever we have shared about Jesus this week is just theological, theoretical, intellectual information. It is simply \u201chead knowledge.\u201d But the Holy Spirit takes these truths and \u201cHe makes Jesus real to us.\u201d Please pray in all that the children have heard, so that Jesus will become “real” to them.

\n\u2018Going Bananas\u2019 Holiday Club is a 5-day fun event for children aged 4\u201311 years (school years Reception to Year 6) run by volunteers from Swanfield Chapel, Chichester. We start at 10.00am and finish at 12noon.
\nTwo hours of fun, games, Bible stories, competitions, DVD\u2019s, songs and much more!
\nAn action-packed programme with stories from both the Old and New Testament. Some Bible characters seem to have \u201cgone bananas\u201d for God, but these programmes show that loving, trusting and following Jesus is in fact the sanest thing that anyone can do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
