The final ‘NET’ event in this series of men’s outreach events and it did not disappoint! A good mixture of ages, some very good food and a beautiful spring evening were the ‘aperitifs’, the ‘main course’ was guest speaker Shaun Sweeney who as darkness descended shared the good news of the gospel.
\nGreat see Christian men inviting their non-Christian family members and friends along.<\/p>\n

The Parable of the Growing Seed (Mark 4:26-29).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jesus said, \u201cThis is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain\u2014first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
