{"id":1579,"date":"2012-09-01T21:14:54","date_gmt":"2012-09-01T20:14:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gcurley.info\/news\/?p=1579"},"modified":"2012-09-04T17:18:12","modified_gmt":"2012-09-04T16:18:12","slug":"the-alresford-show-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gcurley.info\/news\/2012\/09\/the-alresford-show-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"The Alresford show 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Alresford show<\/strong> is a traditional one day agricultural show which combines farm livestock, horses, modern and vintage tractors &#038; machinery, horticulture, local produce, poultry, bees, a companion dog show and many more attractions to give an entertaining day out for all the family.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gcurley.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Alresford-show.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gcurley.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Alresford-show-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Alresford show\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gcurley.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Alresford-show-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.gcurley.info\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Alresford-show.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was great to join with the fellowship from <strong>New Farm Chapel<\/strong>, Alresford who each year provide a Christian witness to the visitors and stall holders at the show.<br \/>\n<strong>New Farm Chapel <\/strong>set up a small marquee and tea area, where Penny &#038; Naomi Burden were able to offer face painting to the children (and teenagers!) while I was able to provide a second hand bookstall selling a mixture of Christian and secular books.<br \/>\nGood conversations were had, lots of literature was taken and hundreds of books were purchased including a number of Bibles. Please pray that the tracts taken, the books sold or conversations enjoyed will prompt the start of many people\u2019s journey.<\/p>\n<p>One of the leaders from New Farm chapel mentioned in an email: <em>\u201cThere were quite a number of meaningful encounters reported afterwards and we did see one new lady in our Service this morning as a result.
