Praise for:
A good number of Campers already booked in! (The number of campers we can take depends ENTIRELY on the number of leaders we have!)
Quite a few Campers who will be with us for the first time.
A great Camp site – each year Lockerley Water Farm gets better & better!
News continues to be received concerning how God impacted lives on last years Camp – (Mark 4:26-27).
Please pray for:
For the right people to join the team and fill the various roles (if you are planning to come please book in – until you book in, we have to assume you are not coming!)
The leadership team as we plan out this years Camp.
Health & safety – accidents do happen – pray with us that any accident/health issue will be insignificant!
Unity & balancing the team – we have a variety of helpers – pray that we will al compliment each other in our various roles.
For Gordon as he prepares talks for this years Camp.
For a good spiritual time – that the week will be marked with conversions and spiritual growth.

CYESC – Day 4
Day 4 – Final day at the Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre (CYESC) at Chidham, Chichester, West Sussex.
No sailing for me today, but the 20 or so campers enjoyed almost perfect conditions for their final day out on the water!
Final talk of the week, and it has been great to teach John chapter 1 each day to this young (8-12yrs) enthusiastic group, and spend today explaining how Jesus is ” The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world”.
CYESC Day 3
Wettest day so far at the Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre (CYESC) at Chidham, Chichester, West Sussex. and it did NOT even rain today! But the strong winds and choppy water meant a lot of capsizes and a lot of extra wet people!
The young people listened really well to an explanation of ‘Jesus the Lamb of God’ – great to be able to explain why Jesus Died! Looking forward to our final session tomorrow – keep praying!
CYESC – Day 2
Another good day on the water – as the cold wind blew and the rain fell I was asked, “Can’t you say a prayer to change the weather?”
I had to remind them, that I am in sales not management!
i would value your prayers for Thursday & Friday as in my lunchtime talks, I explain the death of Jesus and what it means to believe & follow him!
Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre
Always good to be involved in children’s & youth camps. During this half-term I will be able to join with the team at at the Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre (CYESC) at Chidham, Chichester, West Sussex.
It will be good each morning to be on the water of this four day sailing Camp, a chance to mix and mingle with the campers and then each lunchtime give Bible talk. The camp is non-residential which means mid-afternoon I can head off home and enjoy sleeping in my own bed!
Do pray for the talks given, that even now they will still ‘bear fruit’.
